Kelly Brook Blusher in Bardot

Kelly Brook recently launched her own Makeup line which is exclusively for New Look and I'm happy to say her price range is really budget friendly. All the packaging is in white with black polka dots which is very retro looking and feminine just like her.

There's a few shades of blushers in her range but sadly I can't tell you how many exact, as not much of her makeup is online. The blush is the just slightly smaller than the size of a average face powder compact, so a nice size in pretty and well made packaging, you can lift up and blush pan and there's a mirror underneath with a blush brush, yes the brush is rubbish but I'm not disappointed as I was expecting it to be anyway and for one not many of us use the free blush brushes including myself.

Bardot- A pink based peach with tiny white micro glowing shimmery sparkle. The blush is smooth to touch just there's quite a lot powder fall out when you swivel your brush in there. Other than that I really like it and the pigment is good and easy to build up to your preferred desired strength.

RRP is £2.99

It's All Over Too Quickly...

But hey there's still the New Year. Hope all my readers had a very lovely Xmas!
My son got the most spoilt as usual :) Bless him! I was showered with so many gifts including the pair of New Rock Boots I've always wanted!

I have two New Year resolutions which is to get rid of those mince pies from my system and to start posting frequently again.

Boots Botanics Purifying Face Scrub All Bright

Boots Botanics Purifying Face Scrub All Bright is a light but an effective facial scrub that is meant to be used 2-3 times a week at the most. The actual exfoliating particles are crushed apricot seeds. As for the brightening as you can imagine the majority of facial scrubs should have the purpose of brightening up a dull looking skin tone. However this one contains 'Hisbiscus' which they state clearly as being nature's brightness booster and natural AHAs which help leave skin smoother. I'm pleased to say the product gave me both as in my skin looking brightly refreshed, silky smooth and I can proudly say that this scrub do not one bit dry out my skin.

While it doesn't give me the most flawless looking even skin tone, it does a good job a serving it's purpose as a regular exfoliater that won't upset my skin and won't blow my nose off  with a really strong scent (which it smells like mildly sweet soap). The product texture runs slightly runny but the apricot seeds are plentiful.

RRP is £3.99 for 75ml but currently on offer at the moment for a 1/3 off.
