Vampiress Beauty Randomness 36

N-Spa Fruit Apple-Mint Crunch Shower And Bath Gel - Nothing is quite as refreshing and cool in the humid Summer months as this shower gel. It smells more mint than apple but you can still detect the crisp fragrance of the apple in the background. I like the fact that it'll will cool you down but won't dry out your skin and only at £3.00 for a big 500ml bottle.

Balance Me Rose Otto Intensive Lip Salve- Got this free with Glamour magazine. This is really tasty, yep really. It tastes and smells like real rose Turkish delights. It's probably not the greatest at deeply moisturising chapped lips but you can understand why when it tastes that good. It comes with all nice natural ingredients without petroleum. The colour on the other hand is quite a murky brown but it does apply clear as you can see.

L'Oreal Everpure Colour Care & Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner- At £5.99 each not cheap as chips but these do wonders for your hair. Now being more natural based without sulphates I thought it wasn't going to be that great but it is! It froths up nicely and really leaves your hair silky and soft with a refreshing scent of Rosemary & Mint. I will repurchase most definitely.
Barbara Daly Make-Up Summer Sundaes Collection Trio Eyeshadow in Blueberry Burst- Sweet soft satin pastel shades of Lilac, Blue and White. Has a delicate sparkle overlay but underneath is satin and to be honest is very lacking in pigmentation it applies very soft but too sheer for me, without a base cream shadow I couldn't really use it, which is a shame.

MUA Professional 3in1 Extreme Contour Liner in Shade 6 Smoked Plum

At £1.50 these liners from MUA are a bargain and I find the quality is not sacrificed at all, although there are some faults like for one, once the liner is out of the box there is no way of telling what shade you have without opening the lid. 3in1 Contour Liners come in 8 shades, I don't think there will be anymore but who knows they brought out new shades with a lot of their other products.
Contour Liners have a twist up mechanism and come in matte black sturdy packaging.

Smoked Plum- To me is not a 'Plum' shade at all. It's a very deepened blackened purple with teeny shimmer that gives it a little sheen. It's nicely pigmented and as with all shades in this line that I've tried they are very easy to use and glide across without dragging or being too overly creamy. If you're quite bad at eyeliner I suggest trying one of these to begin with as the angled shape really does help make the liner precise and straight.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 055 Cupcake

How I love Revlon's lip butters. There's a shade there for everyone although the USA got more than the UK we got 14 and the US got 20. Anyhow I'd wear every single shade in the line, delicious shades with delicious names.

Revlon Lip Butters come in a packaging where the lid is as big as the lipstick itself and the colour of the casing would also reflect the shade inside, which I think is a great idea  to distinguish the colours easily.

Cupcake is a light pale blue based lavender pink that's very glossy with a subtle frosty sheen that catches the light. I find it looks very Cyber-Goth on me I quite like it. I find it semi-sheer but intensity can be built up very easily depending on how much you put on. Sadly my camera failed to pick up the pretty blue tones but you get the idea.

Compared to Candy Apple I find the texture of this more slippery and it doesn't last long at all on me but as it's a light shade it's very easy to reapply anyway so I'm not fussed.  It's just as moisturising and with all of these lip butters they come with a nice light subtle scent of caramel without any taste.

Manic Panic Lipstick in Green Envy

Manic Panic are more known for their hair dyes than makeup. Although I have tried a few of their other makeup products like eyeshadow which I thought was very pigmented and pressed powder which works very well for me.

I have been looking for a good green lipstick for a long time and it's extremely hard to get. However I feel this is not the one. While it's a lovely shade of shimmery cool emerald green it takes a lot of work to get it there as it's quite sheer and can go on patchy if you're not careful. I wasn't expecting sheer from Manic Panic. It took a dozen coats on my lips to get the product more or less opaque.

I found the lipstick to be quite drying and it doesn't glide on my lips and sort of sticks and drags. The lasting power is pretty good. It's not so bad that I wouldn't use it again but I wouldn't repurchase and I'm still on the hunt for shades of green lipsticks. I detect no taste or smell.

Prices range from £5.00 to over £11.00 depending on where you purchase this from.

L'Oreal (Miss Candy Collection) Glam Shine in 709 Miss Candy

L'Oreal 'Miss Candy' collection has a line up of different shades of nail polishes, eyeshadows and of course lipglosses which are all obviously inspired by the likes of yummy candy. To be honest I didn't feel a need to get anything from this collection apart from this lipgloss which happens to be called 'Miss Candy' as always I'm attracted to any kind of purple/lilac lip products.

709 Miss Candy- Is a shimmery sheer white lipgloss with the tiniest of tiny lilac tinge, probably best combined with other lip products than alone. On my pale lips it looks almost clear with sparkles. I'm really disappointed that they didn't add a strong candy shade of lilac.

The texture of the lipgloss is thick with very little grit hence a lot of tiny shimmer particles and to me is not one bit sticky. The scent is fruity and does taste more than it smells, it's not horrible but certainly not the nicest.

As with all Glam Shines they come in distinct packaging, very tiny with 6ml of product but they do have a good wand applicator that is a sponge but it has a hole in the middle, which picks up a good amount of product. I don't find this lipgloss to last for more than 10 minutes on me but it is very easy to reapply, but than again do be careful to not put too much on, as these tend to gloop and since it's white toned it will look kind of gross! RRP £7.69

Barry M Bold Waterproof Eyeliner in Blue

Barry M are just amazing when comes to releasing new products and shades. Recently they've just released these waterproof pencil liners that at the moment come in 8 shades mostly in metal tones and a few jewel ones.

Blue- Very bold deep electric metallic blue with flecks of silver shimmer. I find this liner to be intensely creamy, applies like butter, pigmented and even. No grit just completely smooth. You barely have to put even the smallest bit of pressure to apply it just flows. Lasts till you remove it, for me anyway.  I have not got one negative thing to say.

I'd highly recommend this quality bursting eyeliner. Just Barry M seriously need to release more shades in this formula. I'm thinking of a pearly metallic white and a metallic deep red. RRP is £3.99
