Claire's Cosmetics Eye Glitter Palette

I've been wanting a glitter cream eyeshadow palette for the purpose of  loving glitter and having glitters all in one for accenting my eye looks and knew Claire's were selling them. The only other brand I can think of that makes these are NYX and after trying this I want to try out their version.

Claire's Eye Glitter palettes come in quite a few variations but they do not have names/numbers on their palettes. This one contains all my favourite colours so I had to get it. The glitters are chunky apart from the first shade which is more like a iridescence that flashes more gold than white but they all seem to go on generously and adhere well.

Well this palette would of been perfect for me, just hate the fact that after swatching the palette it seems like it's just a overlay and nothing more is underneath than just clear gloss. This is very disappointing and I feel rather cheated. RRP is £4.00. I'd like to try NYX's version but fingers crossed it won't have this disappointment. Have you tried/owned NYX Glitter Cream Palette? What do you make of it?

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 35

L'Oreal Elvive Smooth-Silk Intense Anti-Frizz Serum For Dry, Coarse Or Thick Frizzy Hair- I've been applying this after every time I wash my hair. You can apply this to towel dried hair which I do or you can apply it just before blow drying. (I never blow dry). I found that one pump and a half does the job nicely, working my way through the lengths of my hair. It's definitely made my straightened hair last longer without frizzing too early and making it silkier and easier to work with. The smell is light and fruity, like many of L'Oreal's hair products. I'd definitely repurchase.

Goldfinger Lip Liners- I've had these for ages, although one has gone missing. I got these from Ebay ages ago and they've served me well. They're nice and creamy, long lasting and full of colour. The only negative thing I can think of is that I haven't got the slightest idea about the brand or anything.
^L2R - Nutmeg, Chocolate, Lavender, Honey, Orange, Red, Fuchsia, Plum.
Cover Girl Trushine Lipstick in 450 Lilac Shine- A discontinued item. Shame as it's a lovely formula, a proper pigmented semi-sheer lipstick that's creamy and moisturising. Lilac Shine is a light baby pink with a touch of lush mauve and lilac undertones, it has a light touch of pretty shimmer. As it's very slippery and creamy it doesn't last long but it's such a hydrating formula I don't mind and it's easy shade to reapply.
I actually found this randomly at Poundland even though in the UK we don't have Cover Girl over here, only usually if a few lucky items turn up in a pound shop.

NKDSKN Eyeshadow in 10 Russet Red- Yes this was another Poundland find and there was loads of colours and types of these single eyeshadows, I only ended up picking up one of course as I have no idea about the brand and was unsure if they were going to be any good. Now I wish I would've hauled a load and If I did they would of been pooptastic. Anyway this red is really something, it's bursting full of pigment in one swipe and a smooth formula. Russet Red a shimmery deep burgundy metallic red.

Tony Moly Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream

My first time I've ever tried a 'Peeling Cream' and I can say it's been a pleasure to use. This peeling cream is incased in big chunky plastic apple and is from Korean brand Tony Moly. From what I understand a peeling cream is like an advanced exfoliator but without the grains. It applies just like a cream which you massage into the skin which then you end up seeing flakes of dead skin cells when you wash it off. Yes gross but I love it, it's fun in a weird way.

Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream come packed with ingredients like Green Apple Extract, Minerals (Mg, Fe), Vitamins A, E, B1, B6, C, AHA Acid and is meant to maintain skin's natural firmness, brightness and exfoliate dead skin cells.

How to use?
After cleansing, dry the skin and Apply generously to dry areas all over the face, avoiding eye and mouth area. Gently massage for 1~2min and leave for 30sec. Gently rub your face in a circular motion and wash off in tepid water. (This is the instructions from Ebay, as sadly I cannot read Korean, although I have researched some more instructions and others have used this in a completely different way, which involves applying it like a mask in a thin layer and washing it off after 10-15 minutes when it's dry. Hmm maybe I'll try that next time although the usual way works fine for me!)

I found the process is easy, the cream is thick but easy to work with and not to mention that it smells like real delicious apples which aren't too overpowering and just fresh. After use my skin felt very fresh, silky smooth, cleansed and brighter. I didn't get a hint of dryness nor oiliness after use, all I can say is I'm hooked.

I purchased this from Ebay for around £6.50

Sleek Eau La La Liner in 307 Moulin Rouge

Sleek Eau La La Liners are multi-use products and can be used for eyes, lips, brows or anywhere else. I've been using them as eyeliners and they work more than well for that purpose. Although I've seen a bunch of bloggers using this particular shade for the lip area and it looks very nice indeed so I'll have to try that. They currently have 20 shades in the line up with bright, bolds and unusual shades it's all great.

Moulin Rouge- A bright bold tomato red with a matte finish. The formula is very creamy and glides with ease but still keeping the matte finish and applying very evenly. Also the main thing is that it didn't budge all day.

Be warned though if you like crazy shades like me you'll end up craving them all, being such a lovely quality they are makes it all the better. RRP is £4.00

L'Oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara in Noir/Black

I've been loving this mascara for a long time but have realised I haven't done a review on it. To be honest I don't really enjoy doing mascara reviews as much as other products but since I keep using this and repurchasing I thought so I should do one.

The mascara comes in a mirrored effect and shard shaped packaging, the brush is pretty basic, it's quite long and on the thin side with short bristles.

L'Oreal describe this as their '1st mascara in 4D. The power of scultpting fibres for lashes that look volumised, lengthened, texturised and curved.'

L'Oreal Lash Architect 4D for me has to be the best mascara I've come across so far and it seems to do everything I want in a mascara. It's a pure black black, lengthens and volumises, seems to curl up my lashes even though I never use a lash curler.  Lash Architect 4D also doesn't flake and smudge like most mascaras do on me and the formula is neither too wet nor dry. I hate overly wet mascaras as they're incredibly messy. The only negative thing I could say about the mascara is that it can be a bit stubborn to remove.

I think this mascara is for those that like their mascara to be dramatic. I for one can't stand natural looking mascara. At £10.99 it's quite a hefty price for a drugstore mascara, but in my opinion it's more than worth it. I just hope L'Oreal won't discontinue this product.

The following are before and after shots and you can see on my naked eyes, that the lashes are very thin blonde and dark blonde. There's a big change of the after shots, I used 3 coats only. Although if there was shadow and liner, I'd probably use over double.

Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick in Peony

If you didn't know already Chit Chat is a budget makeup line from Poundland, so the whole line is £1.00 each like everything in the shop! :)

Now to be honest I wasn't expecting anything, but I do happen to like this product and I really love the concept. It even has a shade name...can you believe that?

Juicy Lipsticks are designed like a thick and chunky pencil but you don't need a sharpener as it twists up. Now you'd think that this packaging would be flimsy but it actually isn't bad at all! The twist up mechanism works just fine and the lid stays on, yep I'd be happy to chuck this around in my handbag.

Peony is a pale salmon shade of pink. It actually is very sheer which I didn't have any idea about, though the colour can be built up. I am disappointed in the sheerness but I can say I've paid a lot more and ended up with a sheerer lip product. Hopefully other shades in this line aren't all like this. I'll happily apply this with other lip products or if I don't want a lot of colour on my lips.

Out of all I can't really complain it's a nice product for a £1.00 the texture is smooth and silky on the lips, not too shiny but not matte either. I also can't seem to detect any scent or taste.

OMG...New Hair Colour FOTD

Freshly dyed hair, while some red happens to be still on my skin...yep I forgot to use vaseline and of course after straightening I went out in the drizzle, that's why my hair looks a little frizzy.  I'm happy with the colour just it's going to take a little getting used too.
