Miss Sporty Dr Balm

I'd say Miss Sporty is a very cheap but cheerful brand. Dr Balm are £1.99 each but I got these on offer instore at £2.99 for two at Superdrug.

Miss Sporty describe Dr Balm as a healing moisturising balm with a hint of colour. You will only get a hint of colour and for it to give me an actual tint I found I had to give myself many of coats of this product. The texture is very light but it actually feels like a full lip balm and a descent moisturisation but probably not for severly dry lips.

Overall I would of loved this product but since it has a strong scent of watermelon that I cannot get away from, I have to dislike it. This smells like a true sickly strong watermelon and tastes of it too. Watermelon lovers would be over the moon with this but for me I actually hate the smell and taste of the fruit.

01 Sweet Kiss SOS - A warm very sheer frosted pale pink
05 Honey Moon Kiss - Very sheer deep cherry red.

L'Oreal Super Liner Gel Intenza 24h Gel Eyeliner in 01 Pure Black

Following the Maybelline Gel liner, L'Oreal releases one, it also comes with a good quality free brush. Since L'Oreal owns Maybelline I had a feeling it would be similar but L'Oreal's would be a lot posher, which I think is the case here.

L'Oreal's gel liner comes in a clear glass jar with a shiny golden lid, complete with a brush which also has a full lid not a semi brush cover like Maybelline's. The brush in comparison is similar but I find L'Oreal's to be somewhat finer and flatter.

While I adore the texture of Maybelline's I find L'Oreal's slightly better as it's a lot easier to work with for me, for example it's lighter and almost more liquid like while Maybelline's is thicker. Both in pigment terms I think they're as good as each other being a blackest black.

I find the longevity outstanding and it looks as freshly applied in the evening as it does in the morning, even when my eyes get watery, I found there was hardly any noticeable smudging. I certainly see myself getting back ups of this product. I got this for £8.99 but I'm not sure if this was on promotion or not as it's a new release.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 32

Boots Natural Collection Vanilla Shower Cream- I adore their Vanilla Body Spray and wear at least a couple of spritz of it everyday, combined with my other fragrances. I have to say that this shower cream is nice and moisturising, lathers up well but the thing is to me it doesn't quite smell like the same vanilla in my body spray.
The following is my post Xmas sale hauls, I didn't get round to posting. All I got for half price so it's half of which you see on the label :)
Boots Fearne Shimmer Eyes- A Set of six loose eyeshadows, all really pigmented apart from the yellow toned cream colour which is more like a little iridescence. Ignoring that small fault I'm really happy with the quality and the top deep blue colour is my favourite being very strongly pigmented, bold and bright.

Boots Fearne Smokey Eyes- A Set of 5 mini chunky pencils, I have to say I'm not that impressed with the quality here. They aren't that very soft, although they're decently pigmented, I just hate the formula. It's just not as creamy as the eye pencils we usually get today.

FrontCover Blue Eyed Girl- A set containing all things 'blue' including 3 shadows, a shadowline (which is a clear eyeliner which you can use with the eyeshadows), Double Ended Black/Blue Mascara and of course a nail polish. Altogether is a really good set, though the eyeshadows could be a little more pigmented. I'm also not sure how I feel about the 'shadowline' wouldn't you just have to choose what eyeshadow you'd want to be your eyeliner? If not I can just see this ending up being a cocktail of mud.

Violent Lips 'Love Collection' Temporary Lip Tattoos

Violent Lips Temporary Lip Tattoos come in the most unusual arrays of colours and patterns you will see on a pair of lips, some could be almost impossible to create yourself unless of course you are a extraordinary artist. Each pack comes with three applications on three separate sheets. RRP is £10.00 a pack at ASOS, but I've seen these in Boots for £7.99, although I think the price is a bit steep, especially since it's a lip product that you can only wear once and you can't mess up more than 3 times.

These work exactly the same as those fake tattoos you had when you were a kid but now as an adult it's more tricky and you've got to work around your lips. You need to make sure that the transfer you pop out is measured to your lips, this involves using scissors to cut to your shape, placing it as accurately as you can (which I wasn't good at), then wetting it with cotton wool and water. After that you have to slowly peel it off which can be tricky as the tattoo can stretch and go gloopy if you're not careful. The most important thing from then on is you need to wait 5 mins for it to set and dry, I found the process quite uncomfortable since I have quite a habit of pressing my lips together, yet alone you start to realise that you move your lips a lot.

I found that they crinkle at an kind of lip movement, they also exaggerated the natural creases in my lips.
The lip tattoos felt way too heavy and uncomfortable for me, so I had to peel it off, so I can't really judge how they wear, I don't think they will hold up to the time they tell you (4-8 hours) as these have a tendency to peel off on their own. Anyhow I am a type of person that still can't get along with false eyelashes, others may find these a breeze to wear.

Overall I think these are an amazing idea just too time consuming and personally they really don't work for me. I can see why some love them, especially when you can get a knack of a good measurement and keep your lips relatively still for at least 5 minutes which I couldn't cope with, you'll definitely see better results. The vast amount of patterns and shades out there is outrageous and I love the glitter finishes as there is so much glitter, just it feels exactly the same as the one without.

^The Pink Glitteratti- Pink glitter galore
My measurement was really inaccurate on my first try you can see where the sides wrinkled up on the edges, I tried to get away with breaking some off but it peeled so a I made a fail on my first go.
^ The Magenta Glitteratti- A lovely glittery shade of amethyst
^The Red Love - A muted deep red with of course a white 'love' wording on the bottom. You can see where it started to crack on me. It's not so noticeable on the glittery shades, which I prefer.
