Kelly Brook Blusher in Bardot

Kelly Brook recently launched her own Makeup line which is exclusively for New Look and I'm happy to say her price range is really budget friendly. All the packaging is in white with black polka dots which is very retro looking and feminine just like her.

There's a few shades of blushers in her range but sadly I can't tell you how many exact, as not much of her makeup is online. The blush is the just slightly smaller than the size of a average face powder compact, so a nice size in pretty and well made packaging, you can lift up and blush pan and there's a mirror underneath with a blush brush, yes the brush is rubbish but I'm not disappointed as I was expecting it to be anyway and for one not many of us use the free blush brushes including myself.

Bardot- A pink based peach with tiny white micro glowing shimmery sparkle. The blush is smooth to touch just there's quite a lot powder fall out when you swivel your brush in there. Other than that I really like it and the pigment is good and easy to build up to your preferred desired strength.

RRP is £2.99

It's All Over Too Quickly...

But hey there's still the New Year. Hope all my readers had a very lovely Xmas!
My son got the most spoilt as usual :) Bless him! I was showered with so many gifts including the pair of New Rock Boots I've always wanted!

I have two New Year resolutions which is to get rid of those mince pies from my system and to start posting frequently again.

Boots Botanics Purifying Face Scrub All Bright

Boots Botanics Purifying Face Scrub All Bright is a light but an effective facial scrub that is meant to be used 2-3 times a week at the most. The actual exfoliating particles are crushed apricot seeds. As for the brightening as you can imagine the majority of facial scrubs should have the purpose of brightening up a dull looking skin tone. However this one contains 'Hisbiscus' which they state clearly as being nature's brightness booster and natural AHAs which help leave skin smoother. I'm pleased to say the product gave me both as in my skin looking brightly refreshed, silky smooth and I can proudly say that this scrub do not one bit dry out my skin.

While it doesn't give me the most flawless looking even skin tone, it does a good job a serving it's purpose as a regular exfoliater that won't upset my skin and won't blow my nose off  with a really strong scent (which it smells like mildly sweet soap). The product texture runs slightly runny but the apricot seeds are plentiful.

RRP is £3.99 for 75ml but currently on offer at the moment for a 1/3 off.

Boots 17 Eyes Solo Eye Shadow in Punky Purple

17 Eyeshadows can be a hit or miss and sadly I think this one is a miss or maybe a dud? However since I was so pleased in my previous review of 'Shocking Pink' it feels as if this eyeshadow in the pan is a different formula completely and it has to be the winner of the worst shadow I've owned from 17.

Punky Purple is a medium to light purple with a pink sheen. The colour pay off is poor and you need a lot of product to build up the desired colour and it can get quite powdery when you do so, it's blendable but it's not very soft like most eyeshadows out there.

I will continue using it with a good base but I wouldn't repurchase this shade. RRP is £3.89

Elishacoy Luminous Highlighter

Elishacoy is one of many pretty Korean brands. As you should know by now I'm a big fan of highlighters especially of the Asian type as they tend to use white tones that I always look for to match my pale skin.

The Luminous Highlighter is in fact very small, the size is just a tad slightly bigger than a average baked single eyeshadow. The compact is absolutely divine and has a expensive look and feel which comes complete with a puff and mirror. I always tend to use a brush when applying a highlighter but actually the puff may be teeny but so incredibly soft, I may just change my mind on trying this.

As for the product inside it delivers smooth silky application without any dust or crumbling. The marbled mixtures are white, pink, peach and silver and gives a fancy white toned glow, which isn't too overpowering and can be easily be very subtle depending on application. No glitters or sparkles just pearl!

Overall I love this product, obviously I'd like it to be bigger but I can't complain that much as the quality and presentation pretty much makes up for it.

You can find this around Ebay going for around £10.00 including postage & packaging.

Boots 17 Eyes Solo Eye Shadow in Shocking Pink

Not all 17 eyeshadows are as gorgeously formulated as this one, but saying that I haven't come across any of theirs that isn't at least workable.

Shocking Pink- For something given a title like this you'd expect probably a almost neon shade but it isn't.
It reminds me of a pink cherry icy lipstick but in eyeshadow form. With one swipe I manage to achieve opaque hardcore pigmentation that goes on smoothly soft and even.

17 Solo Eyeshadows come in a screw top matte black packaging.

RRP is £3.89

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 38

Vaseline Lip Therapy Pink Bubbly- Seems like every year now they release a new Limited Edition scent. I love this one and is my favourite so far, it's delicious. I detect hints of grape and rose.

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Skin Brightening Daily Facial Scrub- This one is ok but nothing special, not much exfoliation and more liquid. I do have to say that the scent is very strong! So sensitive types would probably hate this.

Bourjois Ombre Stretch Eyeshadow in 09 Brun Nylon- I absolutely love the formula of these eyeshadows and I have no idea why they discontinued them. These are light and full of pigment and of course stretch and blend easily.  Brun Nylon is a silver pearly beige taupe.
You can easily pick these up at cheap prices around the net

Missguided Lipsplash Gloss in Fashion- Got this free in last months Cosmopolitan magazine and I really love it. It's not sticky and lasted over an hour which is weird for me and for being a lipgloss. The colour is a almost opaque blue toned shimmery bold fuchsia. I detect no scent or taste.
