Accessorize Merged Blusher in 2 - Starlet

Starlet is light soft candy pink with cream veining. which comes across angelic looking and fresh. I love how this blusher gives off a beautiful airy glow without any significant shimmer particles. These baked blushes come in four shades, if you're of course forgetting the bronzers. Comparison to the baked eyeshadows, these have a different texture and formulation altogether. They're much softer, silky and to me apply like fluffy clouds. I really wonder why the shadows didn't turn out like that.

I'm so happy with this Accessorize blush, I just want to snap up all the shades. I can really see myself reaching for Starlet on most days as it really compliments my pale skin and it's hard to go overboard on this shade, so if you're pale like me but you don't think you have a light hand to use blush, start with Starlet and plus it'll only cost you £5.00

Too Faced Galaxy Glam Eyeshadow in Magenta Moon

This one is from their 'Chocolate Collection' which Too Faced released around 3 shades that are brown that's hit by a kick of colour. Magenta Moon is the only shade that intrigued me out of the line, as seriously I don't think I've tried a pink toned brown before.

The brown is a warm toned chocolate brown with wispy iridescent magenta lashings, swirled together makes a duo chrome shade.

Pigmentation is not too bad, it could've been better but you can pick up a good amount of colour on your brush, the only problem is I wished they'd added a lot more pink, it kinda pitiful the amount they've added. I'm supposing this is a deeper overlay than normal because I've swatched around 3 times and I don't see the pink going..... just getting smaller. Or I maybe I might just be lucky and find more of the magenta as I use it more, I don't think I'm going to be that lucky though.

On the plus side I love the packaging, yes so it's a screw top but it does look spitting image of a telescope lens which magnifies the pan so you can see the itty bitty magenta veining *coughs*. It's a silver plastic but it's quite weighty so that it makes it feel a little more expensive.

Avon Color Trend Kiss 'N Go Lipstick in Sequin

These are the cheapest lipsticks going from Avon, at £3.50 each.
The shade Sequin reminds me of a dulled down version of Sleek blush in Rose Gold. So it would be the perfect shade to compliment this blush. The only problem I have with this lipstick is the fact that's it's sheer. It's not one of the sheerest I've had but it's certainly no descent colour payoff in one swipe. You'd probably have to get around three coats for it to be satisfyingly opaque enough.
The longevity is around average you'd probably get around an hour with it, depending on what you're doing.

The lipstick has a very light soft texture and I can feel moisture but it isn't too glossy.
It has a scent which is yummy vanilla and I detect no taste.

I'd probably like to try some others out with my next order to see how other shades compare in terms of pigmentation.

Accessorize Merged Eyeshadows

Recently Fashion Accessory store 'Accessorize' launched a new makeup line. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but seeing it in person in my local Superdrug (you can also buy these at Accessorize) . I'm quite surprised, they've released a lot of it and there's a load of eye catching shades...not to mention reasonable prices.

There's quite a few of these 'Merged' eyeshadows that caught my attention, being the mineralized baked type that are usually made by more of the higher end brands *coughs MAC*
Each them cost just £4.50 each and I got three of them.

The texture feels like the norm 'baked' type which is quite hard and not greatly soft, but with one swatch you get descent amount of colour which I was not expecting. All of them have a shimmer finish and the veining gives the final colour a twist. These can also be applied wet but I hate doing so as it usually means a product will expire quicker. I prefer my Urban Decay Primer Potion and NYX Jumbo pencils for more intense stay-put colour.

Shade 2 Pink Planet- A Pretty rosy pink but the lilac veining makes the colour cooler and more iced.

Shade 4 Moon Dust- A shimmery cream but the yellow gold and brown colours make this colour a champagne.

Shade 6 Cocoa- A cool chocolate brown with hints of turquoise and white. There's a ton of veining in this one.

Primark Intellilips

Yes, Primark does Smashbox O-Glow at only £2.00. At this price it's worth a try and there's a couple of things I have ended loving from their line, this happens to be one of them.
The packaging is actually quite nice, giving it a comic book feel, a squeezy tube it is with a brush at the end, this means that you have to squeeze the tube to get it on the brush. It takes little effort and it doesn't blast you with too much product just the right amount.

Intellilips comes out a thick clear colour on the brush, once you put it on the skin, it gradually starts changing in seconds. I think it has something to do with the heat from your skin if you ask me. My final colour was a nice lollipop pink.
Texture wise it's nice and thickish without any stickiness and no gloop strings whatsoever, even if you put a load on. The scent is very light which reminds me of candy floss and no evil taste either.

Longevity isn't that great the gloss does wear off quite quickly but there is two good points about it. Firstly when the gloss disappears you are still left with the colour and secondly when drinking I didn't make a mark on my cup just clear gloss was on it.

 The changing..
The gloss does looks more pink in person, just my flash likes killing things sometimes.

Living Dead Grrl - Makeup To Die For

This is really exciting! Living Dead Grrl is a very newly launched UK Indie mineral makeup brand.
If you have remember reading beauty blog 'Robert Smith's Mistress' this is made/owned by her Lyndsay! She stopped blogging for a while but she's back with Living Dead Grrl and a new blog.
I got sent a load of samples and two full sizes to review, yay :)

First thought is that I really love the name and the motto being 'Makeup To Die For' The logo is pretty good too with a living dead hand emerging from a grave. A thing that stood out for me is that I love the fact that she listed on every colour whether it's lip safe and vegan. Which I've never seen before on any other company, this saves time by looking up every shade online or contacting the seller.

I've noticed that every shade has this silky soft texture which is lovely especially that a lot of them are shimmer and iridescent, but obviously there are some colours that are more pigmented than others. The majority are very descent on pigmentation and very impressed to say the least. Full-Sizes are only £3.50 a pop, which is really nicely budget-friendly in my opinion quality of the products are NOT sacrificed.

All my swatches are without any base or primer.

The Cure Disintegration Collection- Inspired by the band The Cure and one of their albums.

L2R- Prayers For Rain, The Same Deep Water As You, Lullaby, Fascination Street.

Prayers For Rain (Deep Blackened Blue) - This reminds me much like discontinued Urban Decay's Envy which is a gorgeous metallic marine blue.
The Same Deep Water As You (Deep Blackened Green)- A swamp green full of iridescence.
Lullaby (Pale Grey With Multi Colour Pastel Glitter)- Sparkling silver shade
Fascination Street (Pale Purple With Slight Green Highlight And Sparkles)- Silvery purple and you can see the green reflecting.

So I Married An Axe Murderer Collection

L2R- Mrs X, Being Electrocuted, That's A Fact, Woooman.

Mrs X (Deep Red/Plum Shade With Some Red Sparkles)- Warm toned metal red
Being Electrocuted (Clear Bright Blue With Silver Glitter)- Very bright twinkling blue
That's A Fact (Bright Yellow Toned Green With Orange Sparkles)- Sparkling lemon & lime had a baby. I love this chartreuse yellow colour.
Woooman (Neon Peach With Pink Highlight)- This colour seriously reminds me of orange sherbet :)

The Roller Derby Collection

L2R- Derby Wife, Lead Jammer, Passing The Star, Whip It.

Derby Wife (Bright Cool Toned Pink With Purple Highlights And Pink/Purple Glitter)- This one will probably need a cream base to get the best from it's reflecting duo chrome colour.
Lead Jammer (Dark Smoky Gunmetal Grey With A Ton Of Multicoloured Sparkles)- Sparked up brown toned grey.
Passing The Star (Bright White With Silver & Gold Sparkles)- Perfect iridescent highlighting shade.
Whip It (Mid Toned Green With Gold Highlight And Gold/Green Sparkles)- Sparkling Irish Shamrock colour

Spaced Collection

L2R- Fantasy Bazaar, Robot Club, Heeello Brian, Skip To The End.

Fantasy Bazaar ( Shimmery Yellow Gold)- Pale twinkling white toned gold
