Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Lip Tint Bar in 01 Cherry Kiss

Gorgeous Aqua packaging from Korean brand Holika Holika's 'Jelly' lines. While having a jelly faze of lip tints in the shape of a lipstick, I wanted to try more in hope of finding a more pigmented tint, sadly the tint in this jelly is very sheer and hardly noticeable. Although I can say that it's not all bad as I find this to be comforting and moisturising, it smells of real strawberry jelly and tastes good too.

Contains mint water and marine jelly.
Tint Bar is meant to colour your lips 5 secs after applying (there is colour but not very much at all) and will make smooth and bouncy lips without wrinkles (makes my lips very smooth and cushioned).

The colour is supposed to work with the heat from your lips which again is different but I didn't notice any change no matter how warm the product got, I don't want to burn it though, it's far too pretty.

'01 Cherry Kiss' looks like a bouncy ball even with glitter flakes inside like the ones that you get from the dispensers outside corner shops.

I can say I prefer this 100% over L'Oreal's Lip Glow with the texture look and taste, but as these types of things are so sheer, I think I'm going off them. Pretty to look at but that's about it really.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 29

ASTOR VIP Lipstick in 122 Pink Desire- Found at Poundland! It's a gorgeous light, shiny and moisturising lipstick that's easy to wear. It's a light neutral pink with a the most beautiful light green iridescence to it. Smells fruity too.

Vaseline Lip Therapy in Creme Brulee- Yum,  I'm already in love with the Cocoa Butter version so I had to have this. The scent is sweet and smells custard-like but it has a hint orange scent that you notice when you apply. I purchased this at Superdrug. It's yummy but not as yummy as the cocoa butter version. Good thing too as this is limited edition not sure how long it will be on the shelves for.

Sanctuary Mela Rose & Pistachio Body Butter- My favourite scent ever and most favourite formula. It's light but highly moisturising, non greasy, sinks in straight away. The scent is rich, sweet and intoxicating I could sniff this for ages. That's why I went and bought a full sized version. Will now most certainly buy backups, yes that's how much I love it.

Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in 01 Black - You know how much I love my Revlon liquid liner, but I can't help love everything that this gel liner gives too (traitor, I know). It's the blackest black and doesn't look dry or watery like my liquid liner starts doing on me occasionally. The brush that comes free with it is perfect which is rare for a drugstore brand, it lasts till I take my makeup off. The only problem is that you have to wash it after every use but I do that with my eyeshadow brushes anyway. I use the MAC brush cleanser and wash cloth trick for quick cleaning.

Barry M Lip Paint Lipstick in 136 Golden Bronze

Barry M's Golden Bronze is such a gorgeous nude which will go with any kind of eye makeup and outfit.
It seems to definitely illuminate my face when feeling dull. The lipstick is highly moisturising and glides on like butter. Just it doesn't last very well, that's the only thing I can fault.

Golden Bronze is like a glistening pearl cool caramel pink with gorgeous light coppery iridescence. Yep my description was a mouthful but that's the closest I can describe it. It's nice and opaque, considering that most shades that are similar to this are sheer and look on your lips nothing like you would see from the bullet.

As with Barry M lipsticks there is no scent or taste.

I would recommend checking this lipstick out as it's really pretty and a great twist on the normal nude, love it.
It is much more iridescent looking than my photos suggest, I'm in need of a new camera. Hopefully I'll be getting a SLR pretty soon. :)

MUA Makeup Academy Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Glitter Ball

A while back MUA released a professional range of their products, still cheap and great value. This palette cost me only £4.00 and there are more variations of this palette. I did have trouble locating it as I only found this range in one of three Superdrug nearest to me and they didn't have the whole range either.

I picked up 'Glitter Ball' which has an array of shimmery shades and ones with a tiny amount of micro glitter. For something to be called Glitter Ball I was expecting really chunky glittery shades which this palette isn't. I love the fact that it comes with a few neutrals, brights, pastels and a black/white contour colours (which I use constantly). They do compare with their single shades in their £1.00 line in terms of the pigmented buttery texture but in this palette it's much more shimmery.

Overall I'm so pleased with this palette and just at £4.00 all the colours are very pigmented and wearable. Probably going to rival Sleek palettes since they're a couple of quid cheaper and just as good quality!  I will be looking at the other palettes they have to offer.

LOOK Beauty Statement Eyes Satin in Shade 21

So I was really excited to see Look Beauty in one of my nearest 'bigger' Superdrug and I only ended up picking up one thing!

Look Beauty is created by fashion magazine Look and exclusive to Superdrug. Although the brand isn't yet on the Superdrug website nor do they have their own brand website, only the magazine.

Most of the items were out of stock but all the shadows were in. I swatched a couple of testers and to note the matte shades had very bad colour pay off. I picked up 'Shade 21' which is classed as a satin? Which to me is obviously not, as you can tell.

The Statement Eyes shadows come in a clear chunky square packaging, which is solid and not flimsy.

Shade 21 - Is a icy metallic berry pink and is descently pigmented and soft to the touch.

Statement Eyes retail at £4.00 each

I'd love to try the lipsticks next.

(Excuse the gross security tag residue I tried to clean off but wouldn't budge)
