Makeup Academy (MUA) Eye Liner Pencil

I decided to try out the eye pencils from MUA and I'm so glad I did. At only £1.00 each I now want all the shades. The pencil design is just like ELF's Shimmer Eye Liners but not as flimsy and more of a higher quality. I picked out 3 colours, two which are Intense Colour finishes (Lovely Lilac, Bright Orange) and the other Intense Glitter (Pink Sparkle).
Compared to ELF's they are quite a bit longer in length and actually more pigmented.

All are very creamy and pigmented, they glide on with ease. I don't think I can fault these at all, being only £1.00! The only problem is that with creamy liners you have to sharpen them more often, but I guess that counts for Urban Decay's 24/7 pencils too.

Pink Sparkle- Pale baby shiny pink, very faint glitters that cannot be felt on the skin
Lovely Lilac- Metallic deep Lilac
Bright Orange- Exactly as the name. A extremely bright red-orange. My first orange liner in my collection. :)

Avon Colortrend Kiss 'N Go Lipstick in Iced Champink

Love the texture and yummy vanilla smell of the Avon Colortrend lipsticks, but all in all the ones I've tried haven't been pigmented enough. Sequin was sheer which I did a review here. This one is a lot more sheerer!

Infact it comes out like a sheer frosty highlighter on the lips, I suppose I'll use it as a lip highlighter, with other lip products. Wearing it on it's own will just bring out every single flaw and cling to the natural creases on your lips which isn't a nice look. There's much more white than pink in Iced Champink. Avon don't really give good swatches so it's a luck of a draw.

At £3.50 I'm just really curious on how the darker shades in this line come out. Still other than that I'd seriously avoid this shade. Unless of course you need a lip highlighter.

Blistex Lip Tone Tint & Shine

Tinted lip balms are great when you want to wear lipstick/lipgloss but can't because your lips are in bad condition e.g cracked dry. This gives you subtle colour with all the treatment of a lip balm.

I'm seriously loving the formula of this Blistex. It has ingredients like Tea Tree, Sweet Almond and Sesame Seed oils. It also comes with a bonus of SPF15.   It feels very light on the lips, even if you build up the product as the tint is sheer but you can easily build up more colour without it looking and feeling thick. It has a very subtle glowing sheen.

The colour is a rosy brown toned amber instead of the norm pinky toned. It appears very natural looking. I have barely any pigment at all in my lips so if I was not to wear lip colour, yes sometimes my lips don't even show up in pictures. This gives me the natural looking pigment back but if I was to build the colour up to look like a semi-sheer lipstick it can be done. I really think MAC Spice lip liner would compliment it well.

You can really feel the nice cooling effect of the tea tree oil and also has a nice scent and taste of Vanilla mint. To me it feels like it does the job of nourishing and moisturising my lips.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 23

Vera Wang Rock Princess- This fragrance gets harder and harder to find since Vera brang out 'Glam Princess'. It has a beautiful bottle you have to agree. It also has a dark sweet fruity scent. The new release 'Preppy Princess' just dosen't look that appetising.

Sally Hansen Smile Brightening Lipgloss in Luminous- I adore this gloss! It's a tempting cream rose brown colour, it is a bit darker in person, you know the flash. Thick but not sticky and smells like chocomint. I do find that my teeth look whiter when wearing this. You also get a lot of product on your wand, so you don't have to keep dipping.

ELF Liquid Eyeliner in Pearl- Exactly like a pearl, applies and wears greatly....just the felt tip at the end is just too thick for thin lines. I love these pearly white colours for the corner of your eyes.

17 Lip Liner in Claret- My recent lip liner purchase. This wine colour is really descent at £2.59. I could say that the red tones look much brighter in real life. Glides on well without being too creamy that it's going to break.

BeautyUK Eyes Baked Eyeshadow in 1 Midnight

As you may know already BeautyUK have released a bunch of new products. Including baked eyeshadows, I decided I'd try one out, I went with the colours I always use 24/7! I always hit pan on white and black shadows.

It's quite a chunky compact and for £3.99  I didn't expect much in terms of the product itself but I was pleasantly surprised. The shadow is very smooth and the descent pigment is easy to pick up to apply.

'Midnight' Is a trio of black, grey and white all with soft shimmers.

The strangest thing about this product is on the back there's a bar, which I gently tugged on to reveal a push-up  unneeded, small, scratchy blush brush? Oooookay! Please tell me why I'd need this for my eyeshadows yet alone in a blush?

Other than that bit of weirdness I'd recommend it. :)

Chantelle Cucumber & Apple Reviving Face Masque

Chantelle is actually the budget range under brand Montagne Jeunesse. They cost 60p for a two pack but I swear they're slightly more expensive in stores.

You get just the right amount in each sachet for your entire face and the smell is exactly how you would expect it to be, which is really refreshing and not artificial. It has a very soft texture which is very easy to spread evenly over your face. You leave this on for at least 10-15 mins, in that meantime it starts to dry to a hard clay like texture and it's green! My son decided to call me Zombie haha, he's addicted to Plants Vs Zombies and yes I admit I am too!

Once the time has finished you rinse off.
Though with this you can't exactly 'rinse' as it's really tough to get off so you have to remove it with a face cloth and then rinse.

Afterwards my face felt very dry and I noticed that I was getting red blotches! I rarely ever get allergic to most cosmetic products so this came as quite a shock to me. I had to slap on a ton of moisturiser to save my skin and I'll never ever use this one again. Thankfully the blotches disappeared after an hour.

The funny thing is it's meant to do this
'Revive your skin & remove impurities. The natural ingredients moisturise, soothe and refresh.'
Ummm soothe and moisturise? Yeah right

It's made me want to stick to the fun peel-offs in the future.

Collection 2000 Lock N Hold Lipgloss in 6 Twisted Disco

Collection 2000 recently released a bunch of new glosses and I'm loving the colour range. Instantly this lipgloss 'Twisted Disco' reminded me so much of Revlon's Super Lustrous lipgloss in 'Lilac Pastelle' and guess what it's a dupe! The Comparision in price is quite a difference Collection 2000's being £2.99 while Revlon's is £6.99. You can see my review for Revlon's here.

Twisted Disco is slightly paler in colour and a tad less pigmented but it can be easily layered without going gloopy. They look basically the same on the lips.

The texture is Lock N Hold is slightly thick but it has absoutely no stickiness and I may add that it has this wonderful scent of fruity sweets but no taste, I love it.  As for long lasting as the gloss claims. To me I just think it lasts just the same as the average gloss. It dosen't really bother me to be honest as I find no gloss lasts that long on me, apart from MAC for the tackiness but even so it's not a huge difference.

I'd definitely recommend this, I love the colour and the formula and I'd like to purchase more. I have my eye on the peachy nude 'Rock Steady'
