Tony Moly Shimmer Marble Blusher Party Lover in 04 Blooming Violet

This is my first purchase from Korean brand Tony Moly. The blushers come in around 5 shades but seeing as it's hard to come by a pale lilac colour like this for your face. I snapped up my chance when I saw it on Ebay and paid around £14.00.

It's called a 'Blusher' but really it isn't but a highlighter. Usually Asian brands that bring out blushes have 1 or 2 highlighter colours so that's why it's still called a blush, which we will never see in the UK or probably any Western country for that matter.

The packaging is pretty lightweight but chunky and I love the ease of flipping it open. It will not chip or break a nail and it's easy also to flip it over to the brush that is supplied at the bottom layer of the compact. The flat brush is pretty descent for a free compact brush, as it's very soft and full for what it is. I usually just sling these things as they're normally always useless, but I'll hold on to this one. :)

Blooming Violet is a nice soft pale lilac violet colour, but on the skin it's very white toned but you can definitely see the pretty lilac undertones. The shimmer is very finely milled, so you won't look like a disco ball just have a pure enchanting glow.
Texture wise it's pretty amazing too, it's very silky and smooth and not too hard and it's absolutely not crumbly or too dusty.

Have you tried anything from Tony Moly?

GOSH Long Lasting Lip Marker in 003 Berry

I saw this yesterday in Superdrug on their new item display and had to get one. I think there's around 4 shades and I purchased the second darkest colour. Bitten vampy lips are so tasty!

It seems that various companies are bringing out marker pens for your lips and I tell you it does feel weird using this on the lips when my son is using something similar on his colouring book.

Most lip stains and markers have a funny taste to them, usually very bitter and chemically. I happy to say the GOSH lip marker doesn't taste like that at all. It has a fruity sweet fragrance and tastes sweet.

The shade Berry is pink toned, almost like a really deep magenta and probably not as dark in colour as I expected but nevertheless richly pigmented for a stain, though it does look lighter in my pictures than it does in real life. Longevity is ok but not really what I'd expect from a stain. It lasted around two hours before just being visible around my lip line but I was eating and drinking. To get the full potential from this it'd probably be better using this underneath lipstick. I probably would purchase a few more shades as I do really like the pigmentation and smell and I can see myself wearing this under other lip products.

*~Etude House VIP Darling Miss Tangerine Lipsticks~*

The 'Miss Tangerine' the latest collection from Etude House and I managed to find these on Ebay for around £7.00 each which is not too bad in my opinion. The collection includes lots of peaches and oranges from lip tints to cheek balls. I purchased both the VIP lipsticks from the collection.

Although the packaging is bursting with prettiness it's not the only thing you will notice. Both these lipsticks are scented with....yes 'tangerine' and yet it's a really realistic smell of an just peeled tangerine. The scent is gorgeous but there isn't no taste and I'd prefer it that way. :)

The texture is amazing and it glides on like butter, being opaque and moisturising is always a bonus.  Both have a cream finish. I'm also pleased to announce that these lipsticks lasted through a cup of coffee. The only negative point I have about Etude's lipsticks is the fact that they're only available in Asian countries and why can't we have pretty packaging like this in the UK?

0R205- A creamy bright peachy lighter side of orange
0R207- Bold out there tangerine orange

Both of these shades are much brighter in real life, just I think my camera hates bright toned lip swatches.

*~Lip Mix 1~*

I thought this would be an interesting post, as usually I like to mix up my lip products and see how they turn out. How about you?

Firstly applied Rimmel 021 Red Dynamite lip liner pencil all over my lips, then over the top applied 17 Pink Power Lipstick.
It turns out to be a lovely bright cherry pinkish red and lasts for ages!
I've done a review on Pink Power if you haven't seen it already here.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 21

Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub- Every single shower I have recently involves using this, I seriously need to buy another by the look of it. Smells just like pancakes. This does the job extremely well and leaves my skin silky soft. Just be careful on how you apply as sometimes blobs off it tend to fall off from your skin leaving the bathtub messy.
It's quite pricey £9.45 but since it actually does the job correctly, it probably isn't in the long run.
Love the chicken skin mention :)

Missguided Lip Splash in Chilli Red- I got this free is Cosmo magazine and there are 4 shades to choose from and all worth £5.00 each. The red the shade is sheer but not so sheer that it won't be seen on the lips. It's gives you a nice rosy tint of red and has a slightly sticky texture that isn't too thick and gloopy, the scent on the other hand is divine smelling like caramel and fruits and not too overpowering.

No7 Protect & Perfect Day Cream SPF 15- Nearly used up and this is my everyday day cream when I'm not wearing sunscreen in the colder months. It's great for under makeup as it sinks in straight away. The texture is quite thick but light, it has a nice delicate perfumed scent. Other than that I don't see an improvement in my skin, just more moisturised. I would like to try the rich version in this range and possibly Superdrug's Swiss Apple.

Fearne Cotton Compact- I actually got this half price in the January sales but never got around to posting about it. All of these shades are decently pigmented, very soft and smooth in texture. I love the silver and gold colours and the black colour is very rich and concentrated.  I believe she released another palette and is currently on the Boots website for £12.00 some nice bright blues and purples are featured.

Dove Caring Beauty Lip Balm

It suddenly occurred to me that Dove are now making lip care. They currently have two versions which is the original and a shimmer. For some reason the shimmer one doesn't interest me so I went for this one. They both cost around £2.54 each so it's really not bad in price.
The tube is in the same style as Nivea balms, I reckon they could've at least tried to be a bit different. :)

The first thing I did notice is the scent of this balm is the same kind of  clean powdery smell you'd get from their soap and bath products. Which may off put some but I actually like it!
To me I cannot detect a taste.

On to the formula, it's not thin, very creamy and buttery and feels very nourishing. Despite all that it's barely visible on the lips so MEN if you're reading this and need some moisture without looking like it, this is for you.
