*~Sugarpill Eyeshadows~*

I keep hearing of so many good thing about Sugarpill, so you can understand my excitement when I got these for Xmas from my other half. I chose two shades and I really wanted Love+ also but it wasn't instock at the time on Love Makeup. I will end up getting it though, I just cannot resist a red shadow. These cost £7.99 each from Love Makeup but I'm not sure if it'll end up being cheaper to buy these from the official site including shipping, although Sugarpill does ship internationally. The brand is based in the USA and is created and owned by Amy (Shrinkle) who has her own clothing line too.
To tell you the truth I'm not disappointed in anyway, I adore both the packaging and the product inside.

Dollipop- A gorgeous matte hot candy pink, but my camera decided not to pick up it's prettiest brightness. You barely have to touch it to pick up the intense pigment. This is going to easily become a favourite in my collection. It's definitely the best pressed pink shadow I've ever came across and the name is nice too. :)

Poison Plum- A red based poisonous purple with added light flecks of silver sparkle. It's not as smooth as Dollipop and not as pigmented in my opinion, though it's a very descent hot purple and I can see myself reaching for this a lot!

Technical Problems

My internet connection has been playing me up lately so this is why I cannot post. It decides to cut out every 3mins then come back on again. Which is a lovely Xmas present...:(

So it looks like there won't be any posting till my net provider sorts it out which may be a while. I hope it's not long because I really miss blogging and my sweet readers.

P.S I rushed to write this!

Barry M Glitter Liquid Eyeliner in 14 Pink

Barry M recently updated their liners in new packaging, new shades and also a newly improved formula, so they say?  I on the other hand do not agree. I think these are terrible compared to their older line. I adored their older glitter liners, packed with a ton of glitter goodness.
This new hot pink liner from the new line is so freaking sheer and very sparse glitter. I need about five coats to get this swatch. So I'm truly disappointed.

Yes so knowing me I'll get it to work but with a lot of coats.
So why Barry M did you need to try and improve something that didn't need improving? It really didn't work. The old glitter liners will be sadly missed and I just hope Collection 2000 will never ever do the same thing. The best thing that could've happened is some new shades in their old formula.

Avon Colour Rich 24K Lipstick in Ruby In Gold

The fact that this lipstick has been infused with real gold, intrigued me. It probably has hardly any but still it's sparkly and I love sparkles.

Ruby In Gold is of course a cool pinked red ruby shade but the gold sparkles makes it get away with being warm toned too.

This one is supposed to be a richer golden offspring to their normal ultra colour line. It's all in pale plastic gold coloured casing and the actual lipstick itself is imprinted with 'Avon'.
What got me is that it's called 'Colour Rich' the colour is absolutely not rich in terms of pigmentation. Of course there is pigmentation but what you're looking at is not a opaque lipstick.
Texture is very glossy but not sticky and the sparkles cannot be felt at all. I would say that it's a very hydrating lipstick. Just don't expect it to last long, but again saying that it wears off evenly and the sparkles seem to be left behind when the lipstick goes away. So if you hate sparkles, this is not for you.
Scent is very fruity and smells like melon, I usually hate all melon scents but I got to be honest I really like this one it doesn't smell cheap at all and I don't detect any taste.

RRP is £8.00 but it's currently on offer for £4.00 at the moment.

Max Factor Duo Eyeshadow in 470 Star-Studded Black

In my opinion a lot of Max Factor products seem to get overlooked, apart from their mascaras and shadow sticks that is. I'm probably a culprit for that too.
The reason for purchase is that I love the combination, bold contour and highlight colours is what I like. Pigmentation is really not that bad and the glittery black side is what I was hoping MAC Black Tied eyeshadow would be like. It seems to be more pigmented and you cannot feel the glitter particles. The otherside is a nice grey toned pearly white and a nice soft texture.

RRP is £6.49 and I do believe this is my first Max Factor eyeshadow. :) They currently have a gift with purchase at Boots at the moment if you spend £15 or more. So I'll definitely won't be zooming past the Max Factor shelves any time soon.
