Miss Sporty Hollywood Lipgloss Gothic Collection

Now you could imagine how happy I was spotting these kind of shades of lipgloss from Miss Sporty.
The colours they had in the 'Gothic Collection' are:
400 Rock Chic- A pure black with the tiniest sparkles.
401 Punk It Up!- Midnight Blue with tiny mixed coloured sparkles.

Now at £2.99 I got them both but yes I sure wish I didn't.
'A Non Sticky Forumla' which it clearly says on the tube and clearly it is! It has the most gorgeous tropical fruit smell that doesn't taste.
Now as I swatched the pigmentation was ridiculously pigmented for a drugstore lipgloss like this, but it was all too good to be true when it started to dissolve into a streaky uneven mess sinking into the lines of my skin. On my lips the same thing happened which was awfully disappointing, but hey £2.99 right?

As you can see from both of the lip swatches I only showed you some of my lip because it looks absolutely awful. Put it this way it makes your lips look like uneven fingerprints.
Sorry Miss Sporty it's not Goth at all. :(

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

While I went into Boots to get a few backups of my staples, I noticed they had 3 for 2 on Revlon and I needed my liquid liner and couldn't resist getting a few of these new colours of Super Lustrous Glosses. Now it's very rare to find these milky pastel colour glosses, especially in a drug store. I picked out Lilac Pastelle and Peach Petal, I adore true lilacs and have a thing for a pure nude. As with all Super Lustrous Glosses they're thick but not really sticky and only have a really slight sweet fragrance which you can barely notice, they do not taste either.
Since they're thick they last longer than an average lipgloss but when they do wear away they leave your lips really supple and soft, oh and did I mention they also come with a SPF 15 which is always a bonus.

Lilac Pastelle- A creamy pigmented Lilac with a white undertone, definitely a new favourite gloss here.

Peach Petal- This is much sheerer then the Lilac and can go a little streaky if you're not careful.
It's a peach very nude with also white undertones. All of them have a plain cream glossy finish without any iridescence.

Boots 17 Candy Collection Spring Haul

17 Eyes Trio in Dolly Mixture- Beautiful candy like pastels, which aren't chalky the slightest!
Smooth silky shadows that are quite pigmented and blend like butter and at only £4.99

17 Blush & Glow in Strawberry Swirl- What a lovely name! Just like the shadows it's very soft.
It's really pigmented for a blush and yes I guess it's comparable to NARS Orgasm. The highlight side is also very pigmented too.
I'll probably have to get the other one they have now which is called Peach Melba, how yummy is that?
These are £3.69 each and well worth it in my opinion.

17 Lasting Fix Candy Collection Nail Polish- Yes I picked up them all apart from 'Lemon Sherbet' because I really dislike yellow nail polishes. As always 17 have descent quality nail polishes and these are just £2.99 each.
L 2 R- Mint Choc Chip, Parma Violet, Orange Soda and Fairy Cake.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 10

Kelly Brook Vivacious EDT- Why did they discontinue this? This fragrance is incredible!
Very fresh, fruity and smells like Starburst sweets! Scared to use the little bit at the bottom. :(

MAC Brush Cleanser- I always use this for quick spot cleaning on a small towel. Does the job extremely fast and dries at super speed.

Dior DiorKiss Lip Gloss in Lychee Rose- While I hate the taste of real Lychees, I love this gloss.
It does of course smell like lychees but there's rose in there obviously. :) It has no taste and slightly sticky but lasts a long time! The colour reminds me of a sugar plum fairy, it's a plum pink with the prettiest not overdone sparkles. The colour is a little darker in real life, blame the flash.

All About Face
Eye Pigment in Twisted Physic- The one I missed out in my last post. It's described as a 'Intense Periwinkle Grape Shimmer' I think it's more Blueberry then Grape. It's a very royal blueberry blue with fancy shimmers.

About Face Cosmetics (AKA) The She Space

I've been eyeing up these mineral shadows for a long time now, the vast colour range and naming just gets me and I just want them all. I also got the news that the company is closing down and put all the eye pigments on clearance for only $2.50 USD each which is around £1.64 GBP.
So I knew I had to get in there as it will be my last chance!
Now this did take well over a month to receive but I know that About Face is a very small company and are getting large volume of orders.
I have to also mention that Heather who made all of this, kept me updated with my order and queries and definitely comes across as a very sweet lady.

Now I purchased some of the standard shadows and a few from the StoryPeople collection.
As I took the picture I realized that I missed out one of the shadows I purchased which is 'Twisted Physic' so I promise I'll do a swatch in another post.
These mineral shadows aren't the softest but are not at the least gritty either, they're easy enough to blend and have a superior finish and definitely have very decent and build able pigment. The swatches I did were just one swipe!
My favourite that I have has to be 'Gothic Glamour' it's not just the name of course, it's just a beautiful rich colour which is described as a 'Blackened Pewter Shimmer' it has a deep cloudy brown tone to it that just kicks off with a full blasted iridescent shimmer and if you don't own it yet I totally recommend you do and quick at that as well, since it may be gone forever. :(

Overall I definitely love all these shadows and definitely getting more and more into the loose eyeshadow.

Blue Truffle EOTD & A Big Ole Ouch!

Shadows Used- FrontCover Rainbow Eyes Palette (Blanc De Blanc, Chocolate Truffle, French Blue), Cover Girl Shimmering Onyx.

The ouch thing? Well It all happened when I was opening a new cutlery set, half my thumb nail completely tore off.
Below is my thumb nail on the other hand, the one that died was a little longer than this nail.

Now if you're squeamish do not click the picture down below, it's quite gross and yes it doesn't look like my nails will be painted for a while. Nail polish is China Glaze - He's Going In Circles.

Velvet Lip Colours

Lip velvets are a fairly newish lip product on the market and I'm really not all keen on them!
They are much like the packaging of a lipgloss, sponge applicator and all, the formula is not.
Imagine a cheap matte lipstick that got put in a blender then poured into your lipgloss tube, this is a lip velvet.
As you apply your velvet it's fairly wet and very easy to blend into your lips, wait 5 minutes and it's dry and cracks start to show up. However it doesn't end there, your lip colour then ends up flaking like a evil mascara.

Velvet Lip Colour- This one is a no namer, while some of their products do have names others get the miss. I actually picked this up because I thought it was a lipgloss.
It's the most pretty pale bubblegum pink and that's where it ends. It tastes of putrid chemicals and flakes the most...oh and cracks baby. Not worth £2.50, I could've got some ELF.

Bourjois So Delicate Lip Cream in 55 Fuchsia Delicat-I wouldn't call this a fuchsia noway!
More of a deep warm red pink. This smells gorgeous like perfumed roses and no taste. When dry it still flakes and does gives the illusion of dehydrated lips but a little more moisturising.

The final verdict? Well I'll be sticking to my lipglosses & lipsticks thank you! Unless new technology bites me..
